Stuart Lawson is a experienced life science investor and leader with broad expertise in growth strategy, commercial success and global acquisitions. Stuart is CEO of Animatrix Founders LLP, a private investment group which holds a broad portfolio focusing on early stage medical research and technology. As CEO, Stuart has helped to successfully found companies that have grown to a total valuation in excess of £1B. In addition to his role at Animatrix Founders, Stuart serves as CFO for several of the group’s portfolio companies, including Sim4Med LLP, Vaticle Limited, Finsen Technologies Limited and Ideaswise Ltd.
After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Stuart held several senior leadership roles at KPMG, including Finance Director. He has also served as Group CFO and European Managing Director for a publicly listed manufacturing company, leading the team through 16 successful global acquisitions.
