Centauri is delighted to welcome Dr Dave Chapman to the team at Alderley Park as our Head of Biology. Dave is an experienced virologist/vaccinologist with over 20 years of experience in the development of vaccines for both animal and human health in both academic and commercial settings.

He joins us from AstraZeneca where he was the head of the Strain development group responsible for the identification, characterisation and generation of candidate vaccine strains for AstraZeneca’s childhood influenza vaccine.

Prior to his time with AstraZeneca he spent several years in academia where his publications cover a range of topics from bacteriology, molecular biology, virology and vaccinology.

 Dave obtained his PhD in molecular biology from The University of Reading.
