Todd A. Black, PhD
Todd A. Black, Ph.D has worked for over 30 years on the discovery and development of novel therapies for infectious diseases at major biopharmaceutical companies. He has led programs for a variety of therapeutic modalities for prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, including new classes of antibiotics, antifungals for invasive infections, HIV and HCV antivirals, prevention of recurrent C. difficile infections, and vaccines to prevent prevalent respiratory and invasive infections.
Todd has broad experience in directing drug discovery programs from the early stages of lead identification through late clinical development and post-marketing. Todd joined the TB Alliance in February 2021 as the Senior Director of Biology where he continues to support both discovery and late development programs to promote improved therapies for treatment and prevention of TB infections.
