As part of Earth Day on 22 April and the theme ‘Invest in our Planet’, we joined colleagues at Alderley Park to plant a tree and make a pledge to reducing our business impact on our planet 🌱 Our pledge is to “Reduce the amount of waste we produce, reuse as many items as we can and recycle more in our laboratory and office”.

Trees were donated by Alderley Park in return for a donation to The Woodland Trust, who promote tree planting as a natural defence against climate change.

We chose a hornbeam, our CEO Jen liked the description “gnarled and mighty, the hornbeam is as tough as they come”.
